By doing this, the company makes a valuable contribution to society. Via its state-of-the-art facility in Zeewolde, Ace carries out the development, production, and distribution of its products. In addition, Ace manufactures and distributes pharmaceutical compounded products for pharmacies.

Ace is supported in its ambition by three renowned Private Equity investors, Rivean Capital (formerly known as Gilde Buy Out Partners), Quadrum Capital and Gilde Healthcare. Ace works closely together with the investors to organically grow its leading market position by a combination of expanding its registered product portfolio and a further roll-out of the pharmaceutical compounding business. In addition, the Company aims to significantly accelerate its international expansion through acquisitions, and selected licensing opportunities.

Job description

In the role of intern your primary focus will be on supporting a variety of the following aspects:

• Deal origination (e.g., market and company research, networking)

• Evaluation of investment proposals (e.g. financial modeling, valuation, structuring,
  commercial due diligence)

• In close cooperation with the financial investors, deal due diligence and documentation
  (financial, legal, fiscal, technical)

• Working closely with the management team of Ace and helping out on strategic and
  operational projects (e.g., designing and implementing a post-merger integration plans
  as well as organic growth initiatives)

• Alignment with external stakeholders (e.g. investors, banks)
  

Requirements

• Strong academic background in a numerical discipline (Business, Finance, Econometrics,
  Engineering etc.). You have finished your BSc with good grades and will (or have already)
  start(ed) your MSc

• Initial work experience through internships in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Consultancy or Corporate Finance (at least one of which is a pre-requisite)

• Self-starting, ability to work independently and take responsibility

• Ambitious and highly driven to succeed with good level of professional and commercial flair

• Excellent command of Dutch and English (verbal and written) with an international mind set

• Availability for a period of at least three months, partly onsite at the Ace premises in Zeewolde
